Have you ever wondered how people fit everything they will need for a month in a small backpack? …Yeah, us too.
So while we aren’t going to that extreme, we do want to share some pointers for helping you make the most of the space in your suitcase. In this episode, we give you our best tips (as well as those of some experts) for making every item worthwhile and avoiding the excess. After all, nobody likes standing next to the scale at the airport and trying to perform the magical feat of making your 10-pound too heavy suitcase be suddenly under the weight limit, or lugging your 50-pounder up 200 stairs at your elevator-less hotel.
In Language News this week, we discover that perhaps human writing goes back further than we imagined. A Canadian paleoanthropologist has analyzed cave drawings across Europe, finding a large number of common symbols used, which may point to a common writing system.
